Glenn Barber Abella

Glenn Barber Abella, Sr, 74, of Mountain House, California, passed away on February 5, 2022. Glenn was born on March 06, 1947 to Elisa Barber Abella & Bienvenido Abella in Buri, Palo Leyte, Philippines. After Glenn graduated from St. Paul's College, he went on to become an auto mechanic kickstarting his love for fixing automobiles. He also loved camping, fishing, boating, jet skiing, riding dune buggies and most of all singing karaoke! He loved spontaneous trips where he would point his finger on a map and just drive there with no plans nor destination in hand. He always said "You're never lost as long as you have gas in the tank". In 1964, Glenn met Erlinda Diaz at St. Mary's Academy and they got married on November 14, 1965. Glenn and Erlinda went on to have 6 children: Glynda, Gilbert, Glenn Jr., Gwen, Gidget, and Gerret and 8 grandchildren: Princess, Chantele, Paola, Clarissa, Chelsea, Maryell, Nichelle, and Miguel. He is survived by his siblings Ermilinda, Virgilio, Gerlie, Bella, Susie, Ruby, and Lloyd. Services will be held at Tracy Memorial Chapel at 5 W. Highland Avenue Tracy, California 95376 on February 12, 2022 as follows: "Rosary Novena Prayer" at 10:30am; Visitation between 11:00am-12:15pm; and "Funeral Service & Blessing" at 12:15pm, lead by Father Delphine Tumaka.
