On Friday, December 3, 2021 Gloria Louise Leupold (Munoz), 88 years of age, was called home to heaven to be reunited with her beloved husband “Bob” Robert James Leupold. Born January 5, 1933 in Watsonville, California to the late Maria Cruz Perez Munoz of Jalisco, Mexico and Zaragoza Munoz of Bisbee, Arizona, Gloria was raised in San Jose, California and eventually settled in Stockton, California where she worked as a cannery worker, as well as partial owner to B&J Maintenance Company with her beloved Bob. She enjoyed country music and dance, gardening, casinos, and family gatherings. Gloria is survived by her children Rosie Provencio, Steve Macias, Vicki Macias, Molly Macias, Marilyn Moreno, Liz Davila, and David Macias, all of Stockton; Sammy Macias of Watsonville. Siblings Bob Munoz of Santa Clara, CA; Barbara Munoz of San Jose, CA; and Lydia Munoz Magdangal of San Francisco, CA. Known as Nana to 25 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, and 75 great-great grandchildren. Gloria is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Her memories will live on in our family and hearts forever. In addition to those not already mentioned, she is preceded in death by her grandchildren Jesse and Sophia; great grandchildren Beto, Pookie, and Angel; sisters Mary, Esther, Alice, Pola, and Carmen; brothers Paul, Pete, Carl, Fernando, and Julian. Visitation will be held at Tracy Memorial Chapel, 5 West Highland Avenue in Tracy, on Monday December 13th from 2pm-6pm, followed by a Rosary. Mass will be held Tuesday, December 14th at 10am at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Stockton, followed by committal at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery. A reception in Gloria's honour will be held at American Legion Ed Stewart Post 803, 3110 West Lane at 1pm.
