Linda Nash Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. In the early hours of Sunday, June 26, 2022 Linda Nash, 72, passed away from a brief battle with cancer with her loving daughter by her side. Linda was born and raised in Cupertino, CA. where she lived in her family home until relocating to Tracy, CA. in 2019. She graduated from Homestead High School in 1969, and went on to receive several certifications in word processing and administration. In July, 1978 she became a mother. Her daughter, DeAnna, was the center of her life from that moment on. In 1985 Linda met Lenny Nash and soon after they were married. Although the marriage did not last, they had a great love for each other and stayed together for many years to come. You could always find the L & L duo at the local bar enjoying a beer with friends. Linda’s most loved job was at Kolb Pest Control. She definitely kept all those boys in line and on time to their daily routes. She loved the Kolb Family and they loved her. In 2000, Linda was promoted to grandma and loved doting on her granddaughter, Kyanna. Linda was short, feisty, loud, oh so loud and full of love. She had a smile that would light up any room and the most brightest blue eyes. Linda loved a good joke, old movies, Lay’s potato chips, Denny’s breakfast, either a vanilla shake or hot fudge sundae and a cold Budweiser. She was very much loved and will be missed terribly. Linda is preceded in death by her brother Robert “Ted” Mathes, her Father Edward Mathes and Mother June Mathes. Linda is survived by her Daughter DeAnna Mathes, Granddaughter Kyanna McGee, cousins Joe and Eddie Burke (that she absolutely loved teasing and joking with!), nieces and nephews and many other family and close friends.
