Robert Mejia, also known as Bobby, was born on June 16, 1956 in San Jose, CA and entered eternal life on June 26, 2022 in Tracy, CA. He was only 66 years old. Waiting for him at the pearly gates of heaven were his mother and father (Reyes Fuentes and Margarito Mejia), siblings (Junior, Norma, and Rita), daughter (Debbie), and many others. He is survived by his three siblings Carmen, Leonard, and Larry; his five children Bobby, Jr., Mario, Angie, Rebecca, and JoAnna; and his many grandchildren. Bobby was a loving father, amazing grandpa, and loyal friend. He was the youngest of 8 siblings. And even as the baby of the family, he was very protective of them throughout his life. He loved to spend quality time with his family and playing with his grandchildren. Although, he had a limited formal education, he was a very intelligent, self-taught man. His hobbies included reading and drawing. He loved reading crime mystery novels. Also, he takes pride in having read the Bible several times. He had a passion for creating Aztec inspired drawings and tattoo art. He also enjoyed a good party, poker games (which he was very good at), and dancing. This man could cut a rug. In his youth, Bobby was a force to be reckoned with. But in his later years as life slowed down, he enjoyed living the quiet life in Tracy, CA, where he lived with his daughter, son-in-law, and five grandchildren. He appreciated the little things such as sitting on the porch, taking long walks through the neighborhood, and interacting with the community. Bobby’s laugh is unforgettable. His hilarious sense of humor and witty, storytelling will always be remembered. He will be deeply missed by all who got to know him and love him.
